Hailing from Lake Tahoe, Emma is an actress, comedian, and content creator who has risen to fame in a very short time. Known for her vibrant personality, pranks, and gorgeous face. Nothing scares the actress, she’s the type of person who loves adventure and lives for entertaining others even if she gets bruised in the process.
We are privileged to get to know her better in this interview :
Hi Emma! It’s an honor to speak with you today.
Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story? How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Emma Brennecke, I grew up in a small town outside of Lake Tahoe, NV. When I was 18 I found a love for acting, and while training in acting classes I started working 3 jobs to save up and move to LA.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I moved out of my parent's house when I was 17, the day after Igraduated high school. As a kid I often didn’t think I’d survive growing up in a home with alcoholism and abuse, so the second I could I left. It’s been a challenge overcoming the trauma my past stained me with, but I am thankful for it all because it instilled the courage in me that got me where i am today, and where I am going.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am an actor and a stand-up comic. My talents, when you see them, speak for themself. But I got to that level through an undying commitment to training in acting classes and taking stand up writing classes. My work ethic is unmatched like Will Smith once said
“The difference between me and you, is I’m willing to die on the treadmill.”
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Start saying yes to things that scare you. When you say yes more, your life starts changing fast, and beautiful things happen.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
The word success to me is intangible as a whole. It applies to the individual and how they measure it for themselves with their own circumstances. For me, it's making an impact, providing value, creating, laughing, being present, doing the things that make me feel alive.
What’s next for you?
I have some big TV and Film projects in the works that I’m very excited about. Once Covid is settled, I plan to headline The Comedy Store and tour the US doing stand up. And currently, I’m in the process of writing a limited series that I will both act in and direct. The end game for me is Directing, I want to create real, beautiful things, that make people feel.
